Captec Americas Joins the Ontario Defence Association
Captec Americas is pleased to announce that it has become a member of the Ontario Defence Association (ODA), strengthening its engagement with Canada’s defence industry and the wider Ontario defence ecosystem. This announcement comes at a significant time for Canada’s defence sector. Across both federal and provincial governments, there is an increased focus on strengthening Canada’s sovereign defence capabilities by investing in domestic design, engineering, manufacturing, and long-term industrial capacity.
Recent initiatives, including the launch of Canada’s first Defence Industrial Strategy (DIS) and Ontario’s Defence Industrial Strategy framework, reflect a shared commitment to developing Canadian capabilities, supporting economic growth, strengthening national security and increasing opportunities for Canadian companies to compete in international defence markets. Against this backdrop, the Ontario Defence Association provides an important platform for collaboration between industry, government, and the wider defence ecosystem.
