Captec Extends Integration into Asia and Advances Sector-Specific Collaboration
Captec’s acquisition of Serikon Holding brings Spectra’s founding shareholding in Cincoze and Cervoz into the Group. For customers, this connects a wider range of computing platforms and components with Captec’s existing hardware portfolio, application engineering and lifecycle support, alongside an additional manufacturing and fulfilment route in Asia.
Customers across the UK, Europe, Canada and USA can now access the full Cincoze and Cervoz portfolios alongside Captec and Spectra’s existing ranges. This creates more options for configuring a platform, modifying a design or developing a fully custom system. Closer collaboration with Cervoz also provides greater visibility of memory and storage availability, supporting supply chain continuity and repeat production throughout a system’s lifecycle.
Access to Cincoze’s manufacturing facilities in Taiwan extends Captec’s system integration footprint into Asia. Customers requiring production in the region can draw on these facilities while retaining Captec’s engineering, quality and lifecycle management support. Direct fulfilment within Asia offers opportunities to reduce logistics complexity, improve regional responsiveness and manufacture closer to deployment, complementing the Group’s existing European and North American operations.
Beyond market expansion, the shareholder relationship provides a foundation for joint development and strategic collaboration. Together, we intend to combine Cincoze’s computing technology and product engineering capabilities with Captec’s domain expertise to develop verticalised, sector-specific computing systems for applications including defence, transport and substation automation.
