The SED-601 is a six-slot Scalable Expansion Deck designed to extend the I/O and storage capabilities of the Cincoze MD-3000 embedded computer. Connecting through a PCIe x16 interface, it supports up to four compatible Scalable Expansion Modules (SEMs) for I/O expansion and two additional modules for SATA storage. Its modular architecture enables Ethernet, PoE, USB, serial communication, digital I/O and M.2 connectivity to be configured alongside 2.5-inch HDD/SSD storage, according to application requirements. DIN-rail mounting supports integration within industrial control cabinets and automation equipment.

The SED-601 provides four PCIe x4 sockets for compatible Scalable Expansion Modules and two SATA 3.0 connectors for storage modules. Connecting to the MD-3000 through a PCIe x16 interface, it supports additional I/O and storage capacity within the existing computer architecture, allowing a wider range of hardware configurations.
Compatible SEM modules provide options for Gigabit Ethernet, 10GbE, PoE, USB 3.2, serial communication, isolated digital I/O and M.2 expansion. Two dedicated SATA connections also support SEM-SAT101 storage modules, each accommodating a 2.5-inch HDD or SSD. This enables networking, communication and storage capabilities to be combined according to equipment requirements.
Measuring 187.2 × 140.2 × 152.2 mm and weighing 1.9 kg, the SED-601 provides six expansion positions in a DIN-rail mountable enclosure. Its modular architecture supports the integration of different I/O and storage interfaces with the MD-3000, enabling changes to the hardware configuration without replacing the host computer.
